A couple of years ago I did some extremely cautious mentoring of a young lady [ 40 ] who was training to be a co-worker. "Very cautious" doesn't even describe it. I refused to have her cell number and she didn't have mine. No contact EVER outside of an open office.
Shared no food, never ever touched her not even to shake hands.
There is almost NO upside in an older man mentoring a younger female.
Taking into account the current state of affairs, I would not do it again.
