To Jules Woodson

Dear Jules, I'm pretty sure you'll never read this but that's okay.

I hope you are doing relatively well, all things considered.  Hopefully you're married to a decent enough man and that you have children who, at times, bring you joy and satisfaction.

Please ignore the voices that would tell you your life has been permanently ruined by what Andy Savage did to you.

Your life has NOT been permanently ruined due to what ever happened in the past.  Your life can be, however, permanently ruined by the attitude you take towards your past.

You have a choice; live as a victim or live as a beloved daughter of the King.

I hope you see yourself as a beloved daughter of the King.
_______________

A wise word from Charles Swindoll [ who's beloved wife was severely molested by her own father. ]

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company ... a church ... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ... we are in charge of our Attitudes."

Many, many blessing upon you Jules.

Most respectfully,

Seneca Griggs
