T.W.W. about to exhibit their hypocrisy? - UPDATE

One of TWW's  fan girl sites has had a fainting spell over an incident this weekend at the SBC's pastor's conference where an attendee wanted to use the platform to attack Ravi Zacharias.

Just like Wartburgwatch, [ where commenters who consistently disagree with the feminist agenda of T.W.W. are banned,] this attendee was escorted off the premises.  Apparently the goal of the pastor's conference was not the inquisition of Ravi Zacharias.

OH THE INHUMANITY that an attendee would not be allowed to share their narrative.

As some of you know, I am NOT ALLOWED to comment on T.W.W. or it's fan-girl site or the fan-boy site. 

It's early yet, but I'm betting T.W.W. will have, at a minimum, a "tsk-tsk" moment over the terrible betrayal by the pastor's conference not allowing a critic to speak on subjects not appropo to the conference.

We will see if the hypocrisy is in full play.

UPDATE: I was wrong

The Deebs have admitted they are being OVERWHELMED with #METOO, #CHURCHTOO stories.  At least yesterday, they didn't have time to deal with a pastor's conference escorting a troll out the door.  Maybe they'll get to it.

Victims want their stories to be told.  ALL OF THEM.

I actually feel some empathy for the DEEBS, once they declared themselves to be public victim's advocates; the victims saw T.W.W. as a place where their stories could be told and abusers could be publically shamed.

REALITY: There truly are MILLIONS of victims out there - more than a few have suffered at the hands of Churchians.

Can TWW tell all their stories?  Not even a bit.

Will the burden of the stories become overwhelming?  Oh yeah.

I wouldn't want their blog if it met reading about and posting about every terrible thing that has been done to a female by a churchian.

I do wonder what they'll do.

They won't look to Scripture but I will.

C.J. sentenced to 175 years in prison

OOPS! please ignore that headline.

It's Larry Nassar,  USA Gymnastics doctor to teenage gymnasts, who has been given a sentence which means he will spend the rest of his days in prison.  [ I'm actually in favor of the courts simply handing Nassar over to the fathers of the gymnasts to be dealt with. Sadly, I don't think that will happen.]

BUT,  Wartburgwatch and so many of their commenters appear to have no less hatred for C.J. than the gymnasts do for Larry Nassar.

Larry Nassar did evil things to little girls under his protection.

C.J.'s organization did not well handle sexual abuses done by some of their membership.

C.J. is not actually accused of any sexual abuse, sexual harassment or even making women feel uncomfortable around him.

But by Wartburgwatch, he is no less despised than Larry Nassar by the U.S.G.A.

Would Warburgwatch minions send C.J. to prison for 175 years?

Oh in a heartbeat.  I think you'll see it in the coming comments.

About reporting abuses to the authorities some changes have taken place.

In response to the Penn State Univ. situation, Dr. Al Mohler, President of Southern Seminary, apparently sent out a memo to his employees a few brief years ago that no longer should they wait to report possible instances of sexual misbehavior/abuse to their managers or supervisors but they should go ahead and call the authorities themselves.

Now I don't know about you, my dear readers [ or blog enemies - whichever ] I'm MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE taking my concerns to a manager or supervisor and letting THEM MAKE A CALL/DECISION, rather than me. 
If I had to guess, I think there might be LESS reporting of sexual misconduct by employees if they are put in the position of making the call versus having someone else make the call.  I guess we'll see. 

Finally; a gentle reminder about enforcement agencies. re: such as the F.B.I. or Child Protection agencies or your local sheriff's office.
It would probably be a mistake on your part to assume your local government agencies are not staffed by people with a sin nature, with an agenda, with sexual issues themselves.

If you have read the papers in the past; you'll discover that social agencies have often taken a bad situation and APPARENTLY MADE IT WORSE; at least that's my observation after working with and thru them over the years.

NOT "hateful" but Grace-less Sin Sniffers

The Deebs aren't hateful but they will, if they can, find the "mote" in the eyes of the conservative Evangelicals.

Their amen-chorus of commenters will take it even farther.

So I feel obligated to defend them;  no, not hateful, just sin-sniffing.

Remember, they are doing this for your good.  Bringing a little social justice to the Evangelical church.

22 years old as Youth Pastors - should you trust them?

Hmm, they do have hormones but they are not all lechers/pervs.

Male Youth Pastors SHOULD be under the careful mentorship of a male elder.  That, of course, does not guarantee sinless perfection; but then nothing does on this planet Earth.

On a personal note: though I'm long past my 20's,  reading the comments at Wartburg ALWAYS reminds me what an inferior moral being I am.

The self-control and moral righteousness of those who comment at T.W.W. always leaves me feeling ashamed.

I look at Andy Savage's behavior in his twenties and think, " There but for the grace of God go I."

The commenters [ plus author ],  "I would never."

Frankly, I've always been just one stupid/sinful act away from disaster.  [ Believe me, this is absolutely true. ]

I hope you are doing relatively well, all things considered.  Hopefully you're married to a decent enough man and that you have children who, at times, bring you joy and satisfaction.
