Wartburg has had a proxy [ Todd ] write an attack piece on
John Piper. It's kinda long.
But this comment suggests they have achieved their purpose - the defamation of John Piper

The comments are quite instructive as to the goals of Wartburg - build resentment and anger towards the Evangelical leaders who hold to Biblical Orthdoxy.
They work quite hard to establish a bias against men like John Piper.
But haven't the prophets always been hated? Indeed they have.
John Piper is a prophet of our time - a great and Godly [not perfect ] follower of Jesus Christ. If you listen to John Piper, you'll never hear ad hominem attacks on his enemies - that's saved for the "discernment" blogs and he doesn't write those kind of things.
That's Wartburg's bread and butter however.
Dissecting Wartburgwatch and I-Monk which presents themselves as blogs dissecting Christian trends but dissect, mostly, conservative Evangelicals who have an historic orthodox view of Scripture. Not a lot of happy commenters seen on those blogs.
